Mr. Genova took great pleasure in caring for people through his years as a pharmacist and as a dedicated teacher. He loved Cape Cod and spent many years vacationing with his family creating cherished memories. For several years, he and Joan lived on the Cape where they had many friends. As a lover of all animals, he delighted in the idyllic setting of his Heritage Village home, and it eventually served as a sanctuary.
If you would like to make a donation in Mr. Genova’s memory, we ask that you choose a local no-kill animal shelter. A list can be found at nokillnet.org or SPCA of CT, 359 Spring Hill Rd., Monroe, CT 06468. The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
